May Student of the Month: Rochelle Chauhan

Supervisor: Dr. Julia Schmidt

Tell us a little bit about your lab!

“The Schmidt lab has a variety of research on brain injury rehabilitation, from strategies to improve health outcomes to understanding changes related to ones sense of self.”

What project are you currently working on?

“As a masters student, I am taking a look at how engagement in physical and social activity influences recovery following a concussion in youth. I am undertaking a systematic review with meta-analysis and an intervention mapping study which incorporates theory into the development of the intervention design to enhance the success of the intervention.”

What do you like to do outside of academia?

“Outside of the lab I enjoy going on hikes, road trips, and doing puzzles.”
