March Student of the Month: Kendra Zadravec

Supervisor: Kristin Campbell

The Clinical Exercise Physiology Lab does research to understand how physiotherapy and exercise can be used to improve quality of life, physical function, and survival among cancer survivors, as well as physical activity’s role in cancer prevention.

Kendra’s PhD work focuses on understanding how best to deliver physiotherapy for shoulder and arm issues related to breast cancer treatment. This involves developing and testing innovative models of physiotherapy care, such as virtual delivery and self-managed surveillance.

Outside of the lab, Kendra enjoys reading, running, and exploring all the beautiful hiking trails BC has to offer.
