How would you describe your research project in the UBC Rehabilitation Sciences program?

My experience in the Rehab Sciences program was both challenging and thrilling. I had many opportunities to engage with other graduate students, researchers, clinicians, and scholars. I had the support to pursue and obtain national fellowship funding as well as national grant funding for my multi-site study evaluating an eHealth wheelchair skills training program I developed for my dissertation. The collegiality of our lab and mentorship from my advisor were instrumental in making this a fulfilling experience.

Where and what is your current position?

I am an Associate Professor in the department of occupational therapy at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg.

How do you like to spend your free time?

I like to go running 3-4 times per week and enjoy woodworking and tinkering in my workshop.
