INCREASE BC

It was a great day at INCREASE BC on April 17, with RHSC students and trainees presenting their research through full presentation, poster presentation, and a 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) competition.

  • Brittany Pousett, First Place 3-Minute Thesis Competition, “Using vignettes to explore the factors influencing the social participation of adults with lower limb absence” 

The Interdisciplinary Conference in Rehabilitation Sciences BC (INCREASE BC), held at the Chan Auditorium, BC Children’s Hospital, brought together all colleagues involved in rehabilitation research: clinical research scientists, medical students and postgraduate trainees (MDs, Masters, PhDs, post-doctorates), Med Residents, allied health colleagues and community advocates. 


The conference was hosted by UBC-Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, UBC-Rehabilitation Sciences Student Executive Committee, Rehabilitation Research Program, and Centre for Aging SMART, in collaboration with VCHRI and GF Strong Rehab Centre.
