Tell us a little bit about your lab and research interests!
My lab is a fulfilling study and work environment, under the supervision of the fabulous Dr. Suzanne Huot and an excellent committee with Dr. Jemima Baada and Dr. Antje Ziethen. My lab is also a place where I feel safe and supported, a place where I can enjoy my PhD journey and where I can project myself.
What project are you currently working on?
We are currently exploring the experiences of West and Central African immigrants in Metro Vancouver through a hospitality lens. Knowing that 99% of the increase in the Canadian population is due to immigration.

What do you like to do outside of academia?
I enjoy physical activities, I am a personal trainer, and I teach fitness classes such as cardio kickboxing, spin, HIIT and Afro dance. In addition, I like watching comedy-drama telenovelas, technology and discover new things.
