Tell us a little bit about your lab!
The Cardiopulmonary Exercise Physiology Laboratory conducts research to gain a deeper understanding of the physiological factors influencing exercise tolerance across a range of health conditions and chronic lung diseases.
What project are you currently working on?
I wrapped up my MSc work in December and am now working on my PhD. My MSc focused on sex differences in fluid accumulation and feelings of breathlessness in elite endurance athletes during maximal exercise in a real-world setting and I will continue this work in my PhD.
What do you like to do outside of academia?
Outside of academia, I enjoy trail running, hiking in the beautiful BC mountains whenever I have the opportunity.
